Notices & Events

Reminders for the Remainder of the Summer  & the Fall:

 

 

 

1.      Special Assessment-  As was mentioned earlier this year, a special

assessment of $1,200 per slip will be required from each owner to help pay for the seawall repair & the dredging in the SW corner of the harbor, scheduled to take place during January of 2023.  Half of the assessment will be due this year and the other half at the same time next year.  The invoices for the special assessment will be emailed to each slip owner within the next few days.  You will have 30 days from the date of the invoice to pay the first $600.

 

 

 

2.      Contact Updates- In order to keep our files current, please notify

this office of any address, phone # or email changes.  Also, please let this office know if you have sold or donated your slip- otherwise, you will continue to receive invoices & will be expected to pay them.

 

 

 

3.      Renting Your Slip-  If you rent your slip or allow someone outside

of your immediate family to use it, you are expected to fill out a rental agreement with that person & submit a copy of it to this office on an annual basis, along with a copy of the declaration page from the boat's insurance policy.  This is a requirement of Flag Harbor Condo Association & of our insurance company & it would take only 30 minutes of your time once a year.

 

 

 

4.      Southside Clean-Up-  This is a 2nd reminder to please keep the area

on the Southside of the harbor (slips 139-164; 199-203) neat & free from loose items laying around.  Your hose should be neatly coiled & placed on the holder on the wall & any other items should be placed inside your dock box or on your boat.

 

 

 

5.      Gate Guard Needed-  Our gate guard is no longer able to lock/unlock

our gate into our large parking lot.  If you would like to take this on or know of someone in the community who would be interested, please inform this office.  The gate is expected to be locked at 10pm and reopened at 7am.

Payment will be on a monthly basis & you will be issued a 1099 tax statement at the end of the calendar year.
